Who Is Michael Braa
Michael W. Braa, JD spent thirty years building a career at the intersection of law, journalism, and investigation. He is the founder and CEO of Atlantis Private Investigations — a California-licensed firm serving executives, tribal governments, law firms, and federal agencies in complex, high-stakes matters. His work has appeared on ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX affiliates across California. His investigative findings have been cited in court proceedings and referenced by law enforcement and federal partners. In 2022 he purchased the Los Banos Enterprise, a 131-year-old community newspaper — and in 2026 was recognized with a first-place award at the George F. Gruner Journalism Awards for his work there. He is the author of two books published in 2026: Why Jesus and Why Then and The Conductor: The Attorney's Guide to Modern Private Investigation. He is an enrolled member of the Muscogee Nation and a U.S. Navy veteran.
